The Recycling Proccess

The Recycling Process

STEP ONE:
Our raw materials are the waste plastics, delivered to us in semi-crashed form.
At this stage they are dirty as they are collected from the general environment. Hence, we start by cleaning them with plenty of soap and water.

STEP TWO
Once the raw materials have been cleaned and rinsed, they are put in an electric drier. Here the excess water is dried off.

STEP THREE

From the electric drier, the materials are completely dry and now ready for the recycling process. They are put in the furnace where high temperature melts them into hot liquid. The furnace has perforated outlets through which the molten plastic moves out in form of very long continuous threads which are directed into a cold water trough where they solidify and harden into normal plastic instantly.

Due to the high temperatures of the molten plastic, the water in the trough heats very quickly and is piped back into the cold water reservoir for cooling. This cold water is then pumped backed to the trough. This recycling of water helps prevent wastage of water which is a very vital resource in the entire process.

The solid plastic threads are then passed through an electric cutter where they are cut into very minute pieces of about 3mm.

Any material which does not make it to the final process is recycled.

STEP FOUR
The final products are these small grains of plastics which are packed into plastic bags of 25 Kg and are now ready for delivery
